Standard Quote Terms

These are the standard terms that apply to every quotation Graph-Pak issues. They cover quantity variance, warehousing, artwork files, pricing, payment, and quote validity. Specific commercial terms (price, lead time, delivery, payment schedule) are set on each quotation and in any written agreement between us. Where a signed agreement or a written exception conflicts with these standard terms, the agreement or exception controls.

Quote validity

Each quotation is valid for 30 days from the date on the quote. After that, pricing and specifications are subject to re-quote.

Quantity variance

Per the usual and accepted industry rule, actual quantities delivered on any order may be up to 10% over or under the quantity ordered. Billing is based on the actual quantity shipped.

Warehousing

When warehousing is quoted, the days shown on the quotation are the maximum number of days Graph-Pak will store the finished goods at no additional charge. Those storage days are included in the price quoted for the item. Goods remaining at our warehouse beyond the quoted days are subject to additional storage charges.

Artwork files

Each quotation assumes customer-supplied, print-ready graphics files that meet our prepress specifications. Artwork revisions, missing or incomplete files, additional file prep, or re-proofing requested after approval may be billed separately.

Pricing adjustments

Prices on each quotation reflect current raw material, manufacturing, and freight costs at the time of quoting. Where those costs change materially between quote and shipment, pricing is subject to adjustment — up or down — according to the costs prevalent and applicable at the time of shipment of finished cartons. We communicate any adjustment in advance.

Payment

Credit terms are extended to new customers only after a completed credit application has been submitted to and approved by Graph-Pak's finance team. Your sales rep can provide the application (download a copy). Once an account is approved, standard terms are Net 30 days; the exact terms for your account are shown on each invoice. Payment by check or ACH is preferred. Credit card payments are accepted and are subject to a 3% processing fee added to the invoice total.

Scope

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, the terms on this page are the only general terms that apply to a transaction with Graph-Pak Corporation. Terms printed on a customer purchase order that conflict with these do not apply unless we have agreed to them in writing.
